In less than three years, the Global Poker Index (GPI) has become the world’s poker ranking authority – endorsed by players and industry stakeholders alike. The poker world acknowledged that it needed a dedicated solution to rank tournament players.  GPI’s mission is to promote poker players more effectively, more fairly, and to a much larger audience. The GPI Top 300 Rankings are already available every Thursday in USA Today, alongside stats for the NFL, NHL, MLB, and others – and this is only the beginning.

I see this magazine as another stepping stone and encourage anyone who isn’t in the GPI Top 300 to see if you’ve made the GPI Top 1,500 list instead.  Just keep us close while you play. There’s lots of news and other helpful info to keep you engaged at the tables.
